Your April 1 issue contained a major article concerning the “New Baptist hymnal unveiled in Atlanta” (headline). The text offers some insights as to how the hymnal was compiled. Also pictured is the five-member editorial board, which was described as having oversight of the project.
Five-member editorial board — all men! Not a woman in sight. Incredible. Baptist women also sing. They have a brain. It would seem that some female representation would have provided a possible missing point of view.
What a shame! Or am I missing something here?
