Church News

Branch's Church, Richmond, will host The Note-Able Four, a piano quartet featuring Stephen Aldridge, Ann Totty and Fred and Shirley Clements, in concert on Oct. 2 at 7:00 p.m.

Central Church, Norfolk, recently named R. Otis Colston as pastor emeritus of the church.

Fairwood-Agapé Church, Portsmouth, will hold a celebration service to honor Robert L. Baker Sr. as pastor emeritus on Oct. 9.

Correction

In the previous issue we reported that Dee Whitten, new leader of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board's empowering leaders team, had graduated from Samford University. In fact, Whitten graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in political science.
