Dan River Church, Halifax, will sponsor its 3rd annual women's retreat on Sept. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This year's theme is “The Frazzled Female” with guest speaker Kristi Gibson, daughter of pastor Doug Gibson. To register call the church at 434-572-3547 by Sept. 10.
