Bon Air Church, Richmond, has called new staff members. Steve Burkholder is now serving as interim associate pastor for student ministry. Steve Burgess is director of recreation ministries and John Sawyer has been called as site pastor for Bon Air's new campus.

Retirements
Calvary Church, Concord, honored its pastor and wife, Frank and Hilda Casper, at a retirement reception on June 24. The Caspers received a monetary gift and a mantel clock. He has served as pastor at Calvary for 35 years.

Soul'd Out Gospel Quartet will be in concert at Cool Spring Church, Mechanicsville, on July 16 at 7 p.m.
Fairmont Church, Boones Mill, will celebrate homecoming on July 16 with Melvin Harris, pastor of Halesford Church, Wirt, as guest speaker at the 11 a.m. service. Lunch will follow the service.
First Church, Newport News, will lay the cornerstone and cut the ribbon for its new wing on July 16 at 12 noon. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. and a reception will follow the ribbon cutting.
Grace Hills Church, Appomattox, will present the Christian musical, Godspell, based on the gospel of Matthew on July 21-23 at 7:30 p.m. There is no admission, but seating is limited and available on a first-come basis. For additional information, contact the church at 434-352-8847.
Oak Grove Church, Oak Grove, will celebrate its 131st anniversary with homecoming on July 16. Paul Beith will be speaker at the 11 a.m. service which will be followed by dinner. Revival services will be held July 16-19 with Beith as guest evangelist.
Perkins Church, Goochland, will celebrate homecoming on July 23 at 11 a.m. The service will be followed by a covered-dish lunch. Matt Gilliam, pastor of Zoar Church, will be guest speaker at the 2 p.m. service. Revival services will be held July 24-26 with Nancy McDaniel, Tim Jones and Bruce Harfft as guest evangelists.

Eddie Honeycutt, director of missions of Henry County Association, will conclude his ministry there to accept the senior pastorate of First Church, Stanleyville, N.C., effective Aug. 1.
