The Evangelical Forum will host its fifth annual meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Green Run Baptist Church in Virginia Beach.
The meeting is being held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Baptist General Association of Virginia.
The Evangelical Forum describes itself as “a network of concerned evangelical pastors and laymen who desire to see renewal and reformation within Baptist churches in Virginia.”
The Forum will have an afternoon meeting from 3:30-5:30, followed by an on-site meal (donations accepted), and an evening session from 7-9.
The 2006 theme is “Doctrine in the Life of the Local Church” and the plenary speakers are Tom Nettles, professor of historical theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., and Andrew Davis, pastor of First Baptist Church in Durham, N.C.
