MISSION MOMENT: Amherst Baptist has a YPC (yard, paint and construction) team. The acronym also means “Youth Personifying Christ.” One of the team’s projects was on Aug. 22 at the home of a new church member, Patty Governele. Her front porch was badly in need of repair and the team constructed a new porch and stained a back porch. She was overwhelmed by the love the team showed by performing this service. Pictured are members of the YPC team in a group photo and working on Governele’s porch.
