The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Virginia will hold its 14th annual General Assembly March 9-10.
The assembly, using the theme, “From Generation to Generation: Proclaiming the Greatness of God,” will be held at Second Baptist Church in Richmond.
Speakers for the event will be Colleen Burroughs, executive vice president of Passport Inc., and Bo Prosser, coordinator for congregational life for the national Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
The two-day event also will feature music by the chapel choir of Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond and a resource fair on Friday night and Saturday morning.
A series of breakout sessions will include a variety of topics: “Inspire Your Congregation through Missions Education,” “The Capital Vices Today,” “The Practice of Hesychasic Prayer,” “Teaching with Enthusiasm,” “Finding God's Will for Your Church,” “Building Conflict and Communication Skills in the Local Congregation” and “Online Tools for Churches.”
