The North American Baptist Fellowship, one of six global regions affiliated with the Baptist World Alliance, is accepting applications for a new general secretary.
George Bullard, president of the Columbia Partnership, recently announced he is stepping down July 31 after seven years in the post.
A nominating committee seeking his successor is led by David Emmanuel Goatley, executive secretary-treasurer of the Lott Carey Global Christian Missional Community.
The position is part-time. Duties include coordinating an annual gathering, member relations and fund raising and serving as a regional secretary to the general secretary of the Baptist World Alliance.
Individuals interested in the job are requested to forward a letter of interest describing how their gifts align with the job description and resume to Goatley by email. Applicants should put “General Secretary” in the subject line. The application deadline is April 15.
