LIBERTY, Mo. (ABP) — The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Missouri has named Jeff Langford as its new associate coordinator.
Langford, 35, previously was general manager of the International Publishing Management Association in Liberty. He received a bachelor of arts degree in English and speech communications from Central Missouri State University and a master of arts degree in literature from Purdue University.
As associate coordinator, Langford's job responsibilities include implementation of the organization's strategic plan, overseeing daily operations and providing leadership and encouragement to volunteer task groups and networks. Harold Phillips, coordinator of the CBF of Missouri, said, “I will be focused on the organization of CBFMO while Jeff will be expanding the Fellowship as a movement of individuals and churches throughout the state.”
Search committee chair John Tyler said Langford “is able to look forward in Baptist life without being held hostage by our past history.”
Langford follows Leslie Limbaugh, who served for more than three years as associate coordinator in the St. Louis area.
