STAFF CHANGES

Billy Bishop, concluding his tenure as director of music at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Macon, Ga.

Aaron Brooks, to First Baptist Church, Tallahassee, Fl., as interim minister to college students.

Harold Cook, to Buchanan (Va.) Baptist Church, as interim pastor.

Craig Curry, to First Baptist Church, Plano, Texas, as senior pastor, effective May 8. He comes from the pastorate of First Baptist Church, Dripping Springs, Texas.

Mark Gregory, concluding his tenure as student pastor at Bethel Baptist Church, Salem, Va., to accept a position in North Carolina.

Michael Durham, now serving as director of missions for Hermon Baptist Association, Bowling Green, Va. He was pastor of Mineral (Va.) Baptist Church.

Al R. Hodges, to Branch’s Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., as interim pastor.

Becca Jones, to First Baptist Church, Wilmington, N.C., as children’s minister. She has served as minister to children at First Baptist Church, Augusta, Ga.

Michael P. Kellett, resigning as minister with children and youth at River Road Church, Baptist, Richmond, Va., effective July 31.

Eric Lundquist, now serving as pastor of First Baptist Church, Beloit, Wis.

Kevin Ly, to Main Street Baptist Church, Luray, Va., as pastor.

Jim Manuel, resigning as pastor of Prospect Baptist Church, Hurt, Va.

Dane Martin, to Ardmore Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, N.C., as minister with students. He comes from Cedar Falls Baptist Church in Fayetteville, N.C., where he served in a similar position.

David E. Roberts, to Calvary Baptist Church, Emporia, Va., as interim pastor.

Ben R. Sells, to Ouachita Baptist University, Arkadelphia, Ark., as president, effective June 1. He is vice president for university advancement at Taylor University, Upland, Ind.

Scott Shelton, to Heritage Baptist Church, Annapolis, Md., as pastor. He comes from the pastorate of First Baptist Church, Athens, Texas.

Lee Skinkle, to Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, Mo., as provost, effective June 1. He currently is associate provost at Belhaven University, Jackson, Miss.

Darrell Tomasek, to Northside Baptist Church, Victoria, Texas, as senior pastor, effective May 1. He comes from the pastorate of First Baptist Church, Canyon Lake, Texas.

Donavon Voight, to First Baptist Church, Gillette, Wyo., as pastor.

ORDINATION

John Thompson, ordained to ministry on April 10 by Bethlehem Baptist Church, Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, Va., where he serves as minister to youth.

KUDOS

David Gushee, received the Wilbur Award for Digital Communications: Faith-based Blogs, from the Religion Communicators Council. As distinguished university professor at Mercer University, Macon., Ga., he teaches at McAfee School of Theology and throughout the university in his specialty Christian ethics.

INSTALLATIONS

W. Benjamin Boswell, as senior pastor of Myers Park Baptist Church, Charlotte, N.C., May 1.

J. Bradley Creed, as fifth president of Campbell University, Buies Creek, N.C., April 8.

Patrick DeVane, as senior pastor of College Parkway Baptist Church, Arnold, Md., April 3.
