BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Passport, a 20-year-old student ministry with ties to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, is again offering its “Journey to the Cross” Lenten series on its devotional website.
The series, which will run through the first week of Easter, features Scripture, prayer and meditative thoughts accompanied by music.
This year’s contributors include Jim Somerville, Daniel Ingram, Luke Fodor, Valerie Burton, Kerri
Peterson-Davis, David Schaefers and Denise Nickerson. The writers focus on themes of self-examination, accompanied by classical guitar arrangements by Rodrigo Rodriguez.
Journey to the Cross is part of Passport’s year-round devotion site, d365.org, sponsored by the CBF, the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Episcopal Church. It includes daily devotions and three seasonal devotions for Lent, Advent and the beginning of the school year.
