Francisco Rodés is retired pastor of First Baptist Church of Matanzas, Cuba; a professor at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Matanzas; and national coordinator of the Cuban Evangelical Prison Chaplaincy. He is a founding member and past president of the Fraternity of Baptist Churches of Cuba.
Religious partnerships have made meaningful contributions to the defeat of prejudices and hostility in Cuba. The recent actions of the Trump administration won’t deter these relationships, nor will they reduce their cooperative work.
