A change in schedule has been announced for the Virginia Baptist Pastors Conference, which is set to meet Nov. 9, just prior to the annual meeting of the Baptist General Association of Virginia.
An unscheduled conflict will prevent well-known preacher Fred Craddock from speaking in the afternoon session. He still will preach in the evening session, which will start at 7.
Randell Everett, president of the John Leland Center for Theological Studies and pastor of First Baptist Church in Newport News will preach and teach in the afternoon session, which will start at 3 and end around 5.
In addition, three Virginia Baptist ministers will share their view of ministering through brokenness: one minister whose wife is battling cancer, a second whose son suffers from drug addiction, and a third who will discuss addictions in the pulpit.
