PINEVILLE, La. (ABP) – The president of Baptist-affiliated Louisiana College underwent quadruple bypass surgery April 4 after suffering a heart attack on campus March 28.

Joe Aguillard, president of the private four-year college affiliated with the Louisiana Baptist Convention since 2005, was recovering after a successful operation, according to a press release April 4.
Trustees named Vice President Tim Johnson acting president, according the Town Talk newspaper in Alexandria, La. A spokesperson said there was no timetable for his recovery and return to work.
