Rothangliani Chhangte
The former director of Baptist World Aid has a new job with American Baptist Home Mission Societies.
ABHMS Executive Director Jeffrey Haggray announced Oct. 26 the hiring of Rothangliani Chhangte as special assistant to the executive director for strategic priorities and relationships.
Chhangte, who previously worked as liaison for Burmese refugees with American Baptist Home Mission Societies, stepped down in March after three-and-a-half years as leader of the relief-and-development arm of the Baptist World Alliance.
In her new role Chhangte will assist the executive director in developing and implementing strategy and cultivating and managing relationships with American Baptist partners.
