CHURCH NEWS

• Biltmore Church, Glen Allen, will host a Caregiver’s Support Group co-facilitated by Alice Cates, MSW, and Katie Jantzi, MSW, beginning Monday, Sept. 14 at 6:45 p.m. The class will meet every other Monday thrugh Nov. 23. 50TH ANNIVERSARY: First Baptist Church of South Boston celebrated the 50th anniversary of Alice Satterfield as administrative secretary on July 12. A luncheon was held in her honor. Many members wore hats keeping with the theme “Hats off to Alice.” Pictured with Satterfield (left to right) are former pastor Bob Fox; Sid Young, personnel committee chair; and Bill Pyle, interim pastor.

• Crossroads Community Church, Troy, has moved to its new worship and mission center in the Liberty Park complex at 5578 Richmond Road in Zion Crossroads. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Aug. 13. Bruce Hunter is pastor.
