Kudos

Goshen Baptist Association’s ministry assistant, Joy Dickens, began work 30 years ago in the basement of her home typing a newsletter, piecing it together and printing it on a crank memograph machine. Technology has come a long way and so has Dickens as she works in the multiple ministries of Goshen Baptist Association. Volunteering almost as many hours as she works, Dickens played a major role in the creation of Goshen’s RuraLove Ministry, an outreach to local families in crisis, and continues to serve the Lord since her transition from chuch secretary to associational secretary and now ministry assistant. She was presented a plaque (photo above) and love offering from the association during its July council meeting in honor of her 30th anniversary.
