The editor’s desire to remove the nativity scene from the public square is disturbing [Crèche evangelism?]. For Christians, Christianity would not exist without the birth of the little baby laid in a manager. For the secular public, it is one of the few opportunities we have to demonstrate what Christmas is about. We all need to be reminded — Christmas is about Christ.
What is just as disturbing is the editor’s failure to acknowledge that throughout the world Christians are being persecuted. “Respecting their beliefs” of some of the “ists” and “isms” sometimes results in the death of Christians and the burning of their churches.
