Moms in Touch International is organizing its first “First Day,” an opportunity for mothers to gather for prayer for their children on the first day of school in Chesterfield County.
The mothers will meet in three locations on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 10-11 a.m.
Prayers sites are KingsWay Community Church, 14111 Sovereign Grace Dr., Midlothian; Southside Church of the Nazarene, 6851 Courthouse Rd., Chesterfield; and Beulah United Methodist Church, 6930 Hopkins Rd., Richmond.
“Whether their children are elementary age to college, we encourage mothers to join us as we pray for them and their schools,” said Betsy Akins, a coordinator of the event.
For more information, contact Akins at (804) 379-3520 or at [email protected].
