MISSIONS MOMENT

Thalia Lynn Baptist Church, Virginia Beach

A multi-focus group of Women on Mission from Thalia Lynn traveled to the Eastern Shore of Virginia to visit historic Northampton Baptist Church. The group learned the story of Elijah Baker, pioneer Virginia Baptist on the Eastern Shore. They paid tribute to this Baptist pioneer by doing a prayer walk around the church. This trip was inspired by a trip in 2006 to the Virginia Baptist Historical Society in Richmond as the ladies were headed to the Women's Get-away at Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center.
