BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — “Following the Star,” an Advent and Christmas devotional series, will return to Passport Inc.’s devotional website d365.org on Sunday, Nov. 27, through Epiphany on Jan. 6.
This series features Scripture, prayer and meditative thoughts, accompanied by gentle music and can be accessed daily at www.d365.org/followingthestar. Michelle Thomas-Bush, Brian Foreman, Tammy Wiens and Sarah Sartain lend their ecumenical voices to this year’s Advent devotions. The writers focus on the Advent themes of hope, peace, joy and love to prepare for the coming Christ.
World-renowned composer and pianist Joseph Martin has recorded piano arrangements to accompany the devotions. Martin lives in Austin, Texas, where he is a member of First Baptist Church.
“Following the Star” is part of the year-round devotion site, d365.org, which is sponsored by Passport, a Birmingham, Ala.-based student ministry, as well as the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Episcopal Church.
d365.org offers daily devotions and three seasonal devotions for Lent, Advent and the beginning of the school year.
