A very serious concern continues in my own heart and mind since the horrendous happening at Virginia Tech. Where are those of you at the Virginia Baptist Mission Board, the Religious Herald, at the school, and/or throughout the Baptist populace in Virginia as Christians today?
I have covered the latest issue of the Religious Herald trying to read any word concerning the family of the assailant. The only reference I saw was the in the editorial which eluded to the sense of responsibility for his act.
Are there any Christians in the area where his family lives that are trying to be a witness to them as well as comfort? Is anyone really concerned about the parents/family members for themselves? This has been on my heart so much in the last few weeks, and I certainly pray that someone there is ministering to them.
