STAFF CHANGES

Ernest Andrew Brooks III, to the Academy of Preachers, Inc., as president and CEO, effective July 1. Previously he was senior pastor of Mount Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Williamston, N.C., and assistant dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College in Atlanta.

Robert Comeaux, to Dunwoody (Ga.) Baptist Church, as worship and arts pastor. He comes from North Phoenix Baptist Church, Phoenix, Ariz., where was executive pastor for worship.

Ellen Holden Di Giosia, to First Baptist Church, Jefferson City, Tenn., as pastor. Previously she was associate pastor of faith formation at Woodland Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas.

Sandra Dorsainvil, to International Ministries of American Baptist Churches USA, as director for short-term mission. Previously she was associate executive minister for mission and stewardship for the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts.

Rusty Edwards, to First Baptist Church, Halifax, Nova Scotia, as senior pastor. He will conclude his pastorate of University Baptist Church, Hattiesburg, Miss., this summer.

Brad Kirby, to First Baptist Church, Woodbridge, Va., as senior pastor. He comes from the pastorate of First Baptist Church, Jensen Beach, Fla.

Stuart Lang, to Dahlonega (Ga.) Baptist Church, as transitional interim pastor.

Daniel Headrick, to Northside Baptist Church, Waco, Texas, as associate pastor.

Phillip Higgins, concluding his tenure as minister of music at First Baptist Church, West Point, Va.

Cody Martin, to Mountain View Community Church, Culpeper, Va., as pastor of worship, effective in August.

Carrie Schoenert, to First Baptist Church, Austin, Texas, as minister to students.

Justin Smith, to Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, Waco, Texas, as minister to college students.

Micah Spicer, to Third Baptist Church, Owensboro, Ky., as senior pastor. He comes from the pastorate of Fort Thomas (Ky.) Baptist Church.

Lesley-Ann Hix Tommey, to Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, as ministry facilitator for Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries in New York City.

Johnny Youngblood, to Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Baptist Church, Renton, Wash, as pastor.

Larry Bethune, retiring as senior pastor of University Baptist Church, Austin, Texas. He celebrated 30 years of ministry there on June 11.

Amy Armstrong, ordained to ministry by Watts Street Baptist Church, Durham, N.C., on June 10.

Lanta Carroll, ordained to ministry by Park Avenue Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga., on June 25.

John Davenport, ordained to ministry on May 20 by Oakhurst Baptist Church, Decatur, Ga. He is a chaplain intern at Northeast Georgia Medical Facility, Gainesville, Ga.
