Matt Boschen, to Shalom Baptist Church, Mechanicsville, Va., as minister to youth/associate pastor.

Matthew Coiner, concluding his tenure as pastor of First Baptist Church, Bluefield, W. Va.

Kerry Dillman, to First Baptist Church, Woodbridge, Va., as minister to children.

Larry Frakes, to North Run Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., as intentional interim senior pastor.

Thomas Harvey, to Bridgewater Baptist Church, Nova Scotia, as interim pastor.

Sean A. Lee, to Crewe (Va.) Baptist Church, as pastor.

Tim McLendon, to Cornerstone Baptist Church, Norfolk, Va., as pastor.

Paul J. Millarc, resigning as pastor of Briarcliff Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga., effective Aug. 31. Briarcliff is in negotiations to merge with Clairmont Hills Baptist Church, Atlanta.

Hannah Paul, to Parkway Baptist Church, Duluth, Ga., as minister of students.

Abby Pratt, to Central Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., as associate pastor for family ministry.

Catherine M. Ralcewicz, to Ministering to Ministers Foundation., Richmond, Va., as executive director, effective. Sept. 1. Previously she was director of administration.

David Riley, to Hollies Baptist Church, Keller, Va., as pastor.

Chris Sammons, to First Baptist Church, Hewitt, Texas, as pastor. He comes from First Baptist Church, Woodway, Texas, where he was missions pastor.

David Stockment, to Drakes Branch (Va.) Baptist Church, as pastor.

Forrest White, to Second Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., as interim minister to students.

Thomas S. Case, retiring after 27 years as pastor of Ganges Baptist Church, Fennville, Mich.

Carol Causey, retiring after nearly 32 years as missions resource center director for the Woman’s Missionary Union of the SBC.

Ed Eller, retiring after 52 years as organist at Abingdon (Va.) Baptist Church.

David Wall, retiring after over 30 years as organist at First Baptist Church, Newport News, Va.

ORDINATION

Rebecca Weems, ordained to ministry on Aug. 6 by Park Avenue Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga. 

DEATH

Edward Gunther, 93, died Aug. 19 in Syracuse, N.Y. He was a longtime American Baptist pastor serving churches in Bath, Syracuse and Niagara Falls, N.Y. He also served as executive minister of American Baptist Churches of the Niagara Frontier and American Baptist Churches of Metropolitan New York. He is survived by two sons, David and Stephen; and a daughter, Barbara.
