Assistant to the Executive Director & Publisher
Tasha provides administrative support for BNG’s advancement program, manages the donor database and supports the work of the executive director/publisher and board of directors. She joined the staff in December 2015 and works in Winston-Salem, NC.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Ind., Tasha brings a variety of educational and employment experiences to her work. Graduating from Howard University in Washington, D.C. with a B.A. in Communications, she went on to earn her masters in Educational Communication and Technology at New York University. In almost every professional experience, from interning at her local public television station to reaching the community with art through museum educational programming, Tasha has sought to create enriching experiences for diverse communities.
With a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School, she most recently served local congregations as an associate pastor. She has remained interested and involved in the many intersections of media and spiritual formation, and seeks to serve the Church joyfully and collaboratively at Baptist News Global.
In her spare time, Tasha is a moviegoer, an admirer of all things creative and, although she does not have one of her own just yet, a big fan of dogs.
