All Church Challenge

NewsReligious Herald  |  September 20, 2006

I attend Derbyshire Baptist Church, my fiancée attends Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh N.C., and I worked on the pool house. I wish I could start getting Richmond churches involved.

The kids camp is incredible. Children in Helena need outreach. They come up to you and give you hugs left and right and love to talk with you and be with you. Not just the kids, but the adults. Getting them involved in the construction is great—a way to help them be empowered. Working to get that nail gun in their hands and show them they have the capability to build new opportunities.

That is the true goal of the whole project, to enable the people of Helena to change the town around them, and it's happening. But I'm really excited to see that the news of the ACC had reached to the Religious Herald.
