CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Children in Action at Northwest Baptist Church in Chesapeake participated in Children’s Ministry Day on Feb. 20 by visiting families at the Ronald McDonald House in Norfolk.

Prior to their visit the children created “Fun Page Activity Booklets” for the children, who were patients in the Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughter and Sentara Norfolk and for the children staying at the Ronald McDonald House with their parents.
Northwest’s children helped prepare and serve lunch to residents and gathered in the dining area where they heard prayer requests and fellowshiped with the families. Through this ministry, children learned how they could show God’s love to others and how something as simple as a prayer provided blessings for everyone.
