Todd Gaston, to Mount Ararat Church, Stafford, as senior pastor, effective Jan. 30. He had served the church as pastor for student ministries since 2002.

Andrew Nix, to Chestnut Hill Church, Lynchburg, as minister of youth.

Wade Locy, to Thaxton Church, Thaxton, as part-time music director.

R E T I R E M E N T

Eleanor Hartman is retiring as associate pastor at Branch's Church, Richmond. She and her husband will be relocating to Greenville, NC.

Jerry Owen is retiring as music director at Burkeville Church, Burkeville.

The singles ministry at Bon Air Church, Richmond, will host Agapé Cafe on Friday, Feb. 4. Dinner reservations are necessary. Call 804-237-7893.

New Life Church, Richmond, will hold revival services Jan. 23-26 at 7:00 p.m.

O T H E R

New Lebanon Baptist Association will host an evangelism event on Feb. 21 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Green Valley Church, Lebanon. Guest speakers will be: Charles Lowery, writer for SBC Life and author of Comic Belief; Bill Whitaker, president of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College; John Upton, executive director of the Virginia Baptist Mission Board; John Chandler of the VBMB; and Sherrell Dunn, pastor of Mountain View Church, Meadowview.

Piedmont Baptist Association is sponsoring an inspirational music service at Fairmount Church, Shipman, on Jan. 30 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Snow date is Feb. 13.
