Director of Camp Piankatank, Hartfield, VA. Camp Piankatank, located in Middlesex County, Virginia, seeks to employ an enthusiastic full-time camp director. Camp Piankatank is owned and operated by the Virginia Baptist Mission Board. The successful candidate is expected to be a dedicated Christian with a strong desire to share their faith. The director as a Virginia Baptist Mission Board staff person will be responsible to the Support Services Director, work with the Glocal Missions Team at the Mission Board and will oversee all functions of the camp operation including on-site management, maintenance, food service, programming and housekeeping. Oversight includes the summer camp program as well as non-summer month retreats. Skills in the areas of public relations, marketing, financial management, personnel hiring and training, program design and implementation and ministry are desired. A bachelor's degree is required. The position includes a salary with benefits including health, dental, retirement, vacation and holiday pay.
