RICHMOND — The Virginia Baptist Mission Board’s office of worship and church music ministries has chosen its inaugural group of summer worship arts and music camp interns.
The internship program is a new project this year and was established in order to develop and encourage future music ministry leaders and to provide an opportunity for young adults to explore, experience and work alongside current church musicians within a music ministry setting.
The 2010 interns are:

The group — all high school students and college freshmen — went through an application process and had to be recommended by the pastor or a music leader in their church in order to be considered for the position. The interns will be assisting in camp preparation, daily activities and assisting or teaching some of the elective classes which are offered at the camp, based on their skills, interests and needs.
