RETIREMENT
• Bob Millis has announced plans to retire as pastor of Hollywood Church, Appomattox, effective June 6.
DEATH
• Retired Virginia Baptist minister William “Bill” Roswell Snead died April 24 at the age of 87. He had served as pastor of Oak Grove Church, Richmond, and as pastor simultaneously of Stevensburg Church in Stevensburg, and Lael and Brandy churches in Culpeper. He had also served as administrator of the Virginia Baptist Home in Culpeper. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Peck Snead; a daughter, Ann S. Woodbridge; two sons, Bill and David Snead; and two grandsons.
