ORDINATIONS
• Jonathan Finley was ordained to the gospel ministry on Aug. 16 by Keystone Church, Lynchburg.
• Brandon J. Russell, minister of youth at Grandin Court Church, Roanoke, was ordained to the gospel ministry by the church on Aug. 23.
DEATH
• Walker N. Stockburger of Virginia Beach died Sept. 14 at the age of 90. He served as pastor of Trinity Church in Norfolk for 32 years. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Mae Kottke Stockburger; sons, Robert, Bruce and William; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister. A memorial service was held Sept. 17 at Trinity Church in Norfolk.
