Metrolina Christian Academy (MCA) has momentum. In the past two years, the school in Indian Trail, North Carolina, has constructed a new special education building, built up a track-and-field program, and installed smart whiteboards in all its classrooms. According to MCA’s head of school Kacey Chambers, it has welcomed 250 new students—including several dozen with special education needs—for a total enrollment of approximately 1,500 kids.
