The Latino Network of Virginia Baptists will sponsor up to 10 Latino youth from Virginia to attend the 2008 Baptist Youth World Conference in Leipzig, Germany, to be held July 30-Aug. 3
The conference will involve youth in fellowship, worship, cultural exchanges, networking, evangelism and missions. Each Latino youth applying must be a baptized Christian, able to travel by plane, recommended by his or her pastor, between 16 and 30 years of age, and an active member in his or her church and youth group.
The Latino Network invites Virginia Baptist churches, including Latino Baptist congregations, to partner with the network to help fund the youth selected to attend. All applicants selected by the network and who attend the conference will be asked to share their experiences in Germany upon their return with the Virginia Baptist churches who helped provide their support.
