Jesus, who never wrote anything, is quoted as saying, “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Today he has over seven billion disciples.
Shortly after Jesus’ murder, an educated Jewish writer defined that love. He began by saying that if you have the faith that can move mountains but don’t love, you are nothing. He then defines love, taking over 100 words to do it. He uses words like patient, kind, does not envy, boast, be proud or rude, is not self-seeking, hardly even notices when others do it wrong, etc.
So I conclude that if we love one another, we are Jesus’ disciples, all seven billion of us. Maybe some love more than others, but who are we to judge?
