SENIOR DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT. Central Seminary is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Development (SDD) to lead and manage all fundraising efforts in support of its mission. As a key member of the leadership team, the SDD will report directly to the President and play a pivotal role in achieving a $2.4 million annual philanthropic goal within a $4 million overall budget. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision and hands-on leadership across all areas of development—including major and planned giving, church and denominational relationships, annual campaigns, grant writing, and donor stewardship. This role also oversees development operations, including CRM management, budgeting, data tracking, and gift processing. This position is in-person 3-4 days per week in Overland Park, KS. Up to 15% travel. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser with a deep commitment to theological education and institutional advancement. He will preach biblically grounded sermons, oversee daily church operations and employees, provide pastoral care and counseling, and build strong relationships within both the church and broader community.
