ASHEVILLE, N.C. (ABP) — Tom Lolley, who served as a mountain missionary for North Carolina Baptists for 19 years, died July 22 in Asheville. He was 67.
Lolley, brother of former Baptist seminary president Randall Lolley, is a former western area missionary for the Baptist State Convention. A native of Troy, Ala., he was a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where his brother later served as president.
In addition to Randall, Tom Lolley is survived by his wife, Sydney; son, Tim; daughter, Beth Lolley Silver; and five grandchildren.
