The former president of Arkansas Baptist College has filed a lawsuit against the historically black college in Little Rock, claiming breach of contract.
Joseph Jones, fired last December after a little more than a year on the job, filed a lawsuit Monday in Pulaski County Circuit, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported July 25.
The school, with a history of financial struggles, provides office space to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Arkansas through a partnership established during the administration of Jones’ predecessor, Fitz Hill, who resigned in 2016.
