Lisa Baker, resigning as minister to children and families at Wake Forest (N.C.) Baptist Church.
Jimmy Ballard, to First Baptist Church, Mebane, N.C., as senior pastor.
Jimmie Beale, to Buckingham (Va.) Baptist Church, as interim pastor.
William J. “Bill” Bryan, to Abingdon (Va.) Baptist Church, as senior pastor, effective in July. He comes from the pastorate of Old Greenbrier Baptist Church, Alderson, W. Va.
Barry Howard, to Greystone Baptist Church, Raleigh, N.C., as pastor in the interim.
Trevor MacPherson, to Tabernacle Baptist Church, Raleigh, N.C., as associate pastor of families.
Lex Moore, to Fairfax Circle Baptist Church, Fairfax, Va., as pastor of youth and discipleship.
Bruce Powers, to Urbanna (Va.) Baptist Church, as pastor. He has been serving as interim pastor.
Kristin Prasad, concluding her tenure as executive pastor of Gayton Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., to pursue ministry in another setting.
Rodney Spears, to Bethel Baptist Church, Chase City, Va., as pastor. He comes from the pastorate of Brentwood Baptist Church, Roanoke, Va.

 

 

RETIREMENTS

Rick Carpenter, retiring as pastor of care ministries at University Baptist Church, Houston, Texas.
Linda Denney, retiring as minister of music and worship at First Baptist Church, Mt. Airy, N.C., effective August 1.
Cathy Tamsberg, retiring after 17 years as associate pastor at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church, Raleigh, N.C.
