Richard Burcham, retiring as pastor of Zion Baptist Church, North Vernon, Ind.
Marshall Peters, retiring as executive minister of Mid-American Baptist Churches (Iowa and Minnesota).
Ruth Yeaton, retiring after 19 years as pastor of First Baptist Church, Charles City, Iowa. She has served in Mid-American Baptist Churches for 32 years.
ORDINATIONS

DEATHS
Charles F. Christiansen, 86, died May 19 in Rochester, N.Y. He served pastorates in New York State, including Greece Baptist Church, Rochester, N.Y., where he served as senior minister for 28 years. He was the founding pastor of the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf and Clothes Closet. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Keith and Kenneth; and two grandsons.
Tyrone C. Henderson, 78, died March 11 in Silvis, Ill. He was pastor of First Baptist Church, Corydon, Iowa; First Baptist Church, Centralia, Ill.; and First Baptist Church, Oskaloosa, Iowa. In 1994 he became pastor of what is now Parkside First Baptist in Burlington, Iowa, and served there 11 years until retirement. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; six children, Ty Henderson Jr., Cheryl Chandler, Marcy Eliakis, Dora Beth Christy, Tricia Henderson and David Henderson.
George J. Spencer, 86, died April 4 in Penn Yan, N.Y. He spent 42 years in rural church ministry in 10 different American Baptist churches in five states. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; sons, Jeremy and Jonathan; daughter, Sarah Yoder; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
