STAFF CHANGES

Lisa Baker, to Wake Forest (N.C.) Baptist Church, as minister to children and families.

Elizabeth Banks, to Brook Hollow Baptist Church, Nashville, Tenn., as worship leader.

Jefferson C. Beeker, to Church in Bethesda, Md., as pastor. He comes from First Christian Church, North Hollywood, Calif., where he served as minister of evangelism and membership development.

Taylor Burgess, concluding his tenure as student pastor at Tidal Creek Community Church, Beaufort, S.C., effective Aug. 1, to prepare for Tidal Creek’s church plant, Cross Community Church, which will be launching in 2017.

Jason Coker, to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Mississippi as field coordinator, He comes from Wilton (Conn.) Baptist Church, where he has been pastor since 2007.

Nathan Edwards, resigning as associate minister of music and worship at Second Baptist Church, Memphis, Tenn.

Belinda Ferguson, to First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Ark., as interim children’s pastor.

Larry Frakes, to New Highland Baptist Church, Mechanicsville, Va., as interim pastor.

Chris Gilliland, to Monte Vista Baptist Church, Maryville, Tenn., as minister to students and young adults.

Nancy B. Moore, to Blackwater Baptist Association, Windsor, Va., as administrator and disaster relief coordinator.

Nathan Morris, to Church at the Crossing, Aledo, Texas, as high school youth pastor. He comes from Calvary Baptist Church, Vernon, Texas, where he served as worship and college ministry pastor.

Nick Poole, to First Baptist Church, Maryville, Tenn., as children’s pastor. He comes from The Church at Grace Point, Cleveland, Tenn.

Robert Stephens, to Crestview Baptist Church, Georgetown, Texas, as associate pastor.

Mark Sumrall, to First Baptist Church, Kingsport, Tenn., as minister of youth.

Phil Taylor, to First Baptist Church, Etowah, Tenn., as transitional interim pastor.

Danny Silvey, now serving as associate pastor/minister to young adults and families at First Baptist Church, Kingsport, Tenn.

J.K. Weger, to Ash Creek Baptist Church, Azle, Texas, as minister of music and worship arts.

Jana Wolfe, concluding her tenure as minister of music at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Ark. 

RETIREMENT

Nancy C. Greene, retiring after 18 years as administrator and disaster relief coordinator for Blackwater Baptist Association, Windsor, Va.

Inge Hart, retiring as associate pastor of Burien Community Church, Burien, Wash. 

ORDINATION

Kelly Lashly, ordained to ministry on July 2 by First Baptist Church, Sioux Falls, S.D., where she serves as associate pastor for ministry development.
