STAFF CHANGES

Dan Agee, now serving as interim pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Floyd, Va.

Adam Blosser, concluding his tenure as pastor of Drakes Branch (Va.) Baptist Church.

Ashley Boschen, to Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Mechanicsville, Va., as minister to families.

April Crisp, to First Baptist Church, Jefferson, Ga., as minister to children and families. She comes from Pasadena Villa Smoky Mountain Lodge, Sevierville, Tenn., where she worked as assistant program director.

Doug Frazier, concluding his tenure as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Winchester, Va.

Michael L. Gregg, to Royal Lane Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas, as pastor. He comes from Northside Drive Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga., where he served as associate pastor and minister of education.

Al Hodges, to Branch’s Baptist Church, Richmond, Va., as interim pastor.

Mary Hutchins, to First Baptist Church, Galax, Va., as family life minister.

Brian Hoysa, to Downtown Baptist Church, Alexandria, Va., as pastoral resident.

Frank Johnson, to Bowling Green (Va.) Baptist Church, as pastor. He comes from the pastorate of Lake Ridge Baptist Church, Woodbridge, Va.

Michael Queen, to Winter Park Baptist Church, Wilmington, N.C., as interim pastor.

Danny Quirin, now serving as the Baptist General Association of Virginia’s first youth minister in residence. He has served as minister to youth at Bonsack Baptist Church, Roanoke, Va.

Albert Reyes, elected vice president of the North American Baptist Fellowship. He is president and chief executive officer of Buckner International.

Michael Sizemore, concluding his tenure as youth ministry director at First Baptist Church, Elkin, N.C.

Jerry Young, to Calvary Hill Baptist Church, Fairfax, Va., as interim pastor. 

ORDINATIONS

Zana Kizzee, ordained to ministry on July 31 by Fredericksburg (Va.) Baptist Church. She serves as minister of music at Hulls Memorial Baptist Church, Fredericksburg.

Lee Tredwell, ordained to ministry on Aug. 14 by Calvary Baptist Church, Denver, Colo.

KUDOS

Deborah Carlton Loftis, honored by The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada, as Fellow of The Hymn Society. This award, the highest honor given by the organization, was conferred because of her work as an educator and scholar in the field of congregational song and for her significant contribution to The HSUSAC as its executive director.

STAFF ANNIVERSARIES

Tillie Burgin, 30 years as minister of missions at First Baptist Church, Arlington, Texas.

David Clifton, 5 years, as pastor of New Journey Baptist Church, Chesterfield, Va.

Bryan Moore, 10 years as minister of youth and students at First Baptist Church, Southern Pines, N.C.

Susan Prather, 10 years as minister to youth and children at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, Moseley, Va.

Dennis R. Price, 50 years as director of music at Churchland Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Va.
