DEATHS
George E. Barton, 82, died Nov. 8 in Hampton, Va. He was professor and dean of Central Baptist Seminary in Toronto, Ontario. He was senior pastor of Wilmar Heights Baptist Church, Scarborouh, Ontario, and retired from full-time ministry after 15 years as senior pastor of Fairview Heights Baptist Church, Portsmouth, Va. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Stephen and Andrew; a daughter, Colleen Naumann; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
