STAFF CHANGES

Monty Bennett, concluding his tenure as music director/organist for Park Road Baptist Church, Charlotte, N.C., effective July 28.

Rob Covington, to Bonsack Baptist Church, Roanoke, Va., as minister of youth.

Bill Ellis, concluding his tenure as associate pastor for senior adults at First Baptist Church, Ashland, Va.

Cindy Folendone, to Hardwick (Ga.) Baptist Church, as minister with community.

Eric Fulcher, to University Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, La., as minister of community and Church of the Nations.

Rozanna Goocey, to Knollwood Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, N.C., as minister of music.

Toya Richards, to People’s Congregational Church, Bayport, Minn., as senior pastor. Previously she was communications specialist for the Alliance of Baptists.

John Swindler, concluding his tenure as associate pastor, discipleship and student ministries at First Baptist Church, Cornelia, Ga.

Keith Williams, to Cobham Park Baptist Church, Warsaw, Va., as pastor. He comes from the pastorate of Falling River Baptist Church, Brookneal, Va.
 
 

RETIREMENTS

Stan Allcorn, announcing plans to retire as senior pastor of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, Abilene, Texas, effective August 2020. He has served as senior pastor there since 1998.

Benjamin Harlan, retiring as minister of music at University Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, La.

Linda Jones, retiring after 13 years as missions coordinator for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, effective June 30.

Molly Marshall, announcing plans to retire as president of Central Baptist Theological Seminary, Shawnee, Kansas, effective early summer 2020. In May 2004 she was named Central’s acting academic dean, a position she held until her election as president.

 

ORDINATION

Kathleen O’Goley, ordained to ministry on May 19 by Second Baptist Church, South Hadley, Mass.
