On Monday, two days after the U.S. and Israel carried out a series of attacks on Iran—dubbed “Operation Epic Fury” by the U.S. and “Operation Roaring Lion” by Israel—reports began circulating of commanders telling U.S. troops that the war is for “Armageddon” and that it was “God’s plan” to hasten the return of Jesus. According to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), a watchdog organization, over 100 complaints have been recorded across every branch of the military.
