Veteran newspaper reporter Jeff Brumley started March 26 as assistant editor of Associated Baptist Press. He comes to the post from the Florida Times-Unionin Jacksonville, Fla., where he has worked as religion writer since 2004.
Before that he was religion editor and writer at the Stuart/Port St. Lucie News in Stuart, Fla. Other past jobs include newspapers in Tennessee and Ohio going back to the 1980s. He has won awards including being named Religion Writer of the Year in 2008 by the Religion Newswriters Association.
