BLUEFIELD, Va. — Bluefield College is seeing the largest number of traditional students enrolled on its campus since the fall of 2004.
The 440 traditional student total is more than 4 percent higher than the 423 traditional students in the fall of 2009 and an increase of more than 13 percent over traditional student numbers in the fall of 2008.
Of the 440 total traditional students, 161 are new, including freshmen and transfer students, and with the advent of football, BC leaders are confident new student numbers will continue to grow.
In addition to the record number of traditional students enrolled, Bluefield College has its largest resident population ever. Two hundred and eighty of BC’s 440 traditional students are living on campus in residence halls.
