Faithful America is back with its annual list of false prophets of Christian nationalism.
This year’s list of 10 includes four members of the Trump administration, five current candidates for office and one governor.
The “False Prophets Don’t Speak for Me” campaign is the fourth annual effort “to expose religious-right leaders who twist the gospel to promote hatred, division and political power,” a news release says.
This year’s honorees include Andy Barr, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Kentucky; Pete Hegseth, U.S. Secretary of Defense; Victor Marx, Republican candidate for governor of Colorado; Ty Masterson, Republican candidate for governor of Kansas; Barry Moore, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Alabama; Markwayne Mullin, U.S. secretary of Homeland Security; Ken Paxton, current Republican candidate for U.S. Senate from Texas; Sarah Huckabee Sanders, governor of Arkansas; Scott Turner, U.S. secretary of Housing and Urban Development; and Russell Vought, director of the White House Office of Management and Budget and architect of Project 2025.
Faithful America is a national organization that educates, organizes and mobilizes social-justice Christians to advance Jesus’ prophetic vision and challenge white Christian nationalism.
