The Virginia Network of Interim Ministers will sponsor a conference May 3 on conflict transformation in local congregations.
“Navigating the Storms of Church Conflict” will be held in English Hall at Eagle Eyrie from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. just prior to the May 3-4 Leadership Gathering sponsored by the Virginia Baptist Mission Board.
Featured speakers are David Brubaker, professor of organizational studies in the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Va., and Don Harvey, interim ministry transition specialist with the Center for Congregational Health in Winston-Salem.
Cost of the conference is $25 for Interim Network members and $39 for non-members. This includes the conference fee, Friday lunch and a May 3 breakout session of the Leadership Gathering at 4 p.m.
The $59 registration fee for the Leadership Gathering includes the cost of the Interim Network conference.
