DEATH
Bruce W. Bowles, 87, died June 24 in Dallas, Texas. He was president and chief executive officer of the Baptist Church Loan Corporation. He also was founding president of the Texas Baptist Financial Services. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughter, Cindy Emory; son, Jeff; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
